So we went to a little island called Sauvie Island that is about ten miles west-northwest of our house. It sits between the Columbia River, Multnomah Channel, and Willamette River.
At Savie Island Farms we picked about 3 pounds of blueberries, raspberries, and marionberries all for $4.50! It is A LOT of fun. We went with our friends Heather and Val and their kids.

Hi honey, dad, yes i'm working full time again at a catholic school circa 1922 at 24th&market St. I used to pick berries in the creek beds in julian.It's hot here too! Luv Dad

Sorry it has taken me soooo long to drop you a line. We are sometimes ready for bed at 8pm. We have had rain for about 30+ days and temps mostly in the 70's & 80's. Today 90's. But we do have AC. Your apt is so cute & we love the pixs. Sounds like you 2 really made a great decision on a city that really suits you. You both look terrific!!! Granny & G.Pa
