Driving from Portland to Silver Falls State Park, you pass a bunch of Christmas tree farms:
There is a bunch of hay on the way up too, which is noteworthy for us, I guess:
First stop, South Falls (approx. 180 ft. high):

Next stop Winter Falls, which got poor reviews from us:
Third stop, North Falls, which could be spotted from a distance:

It was a fun series of small hikes. Pushing a pregnant lady up the hill made it possible.
